IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with AR Infra Consultancy for the development of Crowne Plaza Hyderabad Shamshabad Airport Road. Scheduled to open in Q1 2031, the 250-key hotel will strengthen IHG’s presence in Hyderabad and mark the entry of the Crowne Plaza brand into the region. The upcoming premium hotel will be located adjacent to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and the World Trade Centre. The hotel will be positioned to cater to airport transit, corporate travel, meetings and events, long-stay guests, and project- and industrial-related demand.

Once operational, Crowne Plaza Hyderabad Shamshabad Airport Road will offer 250 keys, including 37 suites. The hotel will feature five food and beverage outlets, including a 187-seat all-day dining restaurant, a 65-seat bar, a 65-seat specialty restaurant, a 65-seat pool bar and a 55-seat lobby lounge. Complementing these will be 1,170 sq. m. of meeting space across five venues, including an 800 sq. m. ballroom, alongside a club lounge, pool, fitness centre, spa and parking spaces.
