Tamara Leisure Experiences (TLE) has introduced Yazhi – The Grand Koodal, a premium wedding and celebration destination in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Yazhi marks TLE’s first-ever Kalyana Mandapa, offering a comprehensive destination for weddings, receptions, engagement ceremonies, and social celebrations.

Yazhi – The Grand Koodal has been designed for a wedding to unfold as one seamless, unhurried experience rather than a series of logistical handoffs. At its heart is a 10,500 sq. ft. main function hall, seating over 850 guests and accommodating upwards of 1,500 in a floating arrangement, built to hold the scale, colour and ceremony of a Tamil wedding, from the muhurtham to the celebrations that follow. A dedicated dining facility, with seating for approximately 350 guests at a time, sits alongside a fully equipped commercial kitchen, allowing large-scale menus to be prepared and served with efficiency across the celebrations.
Beyond the main event spaces, Yazhi has been planned around the people and practicalities that shape a wedding day. Five well-appointed guest rooms provide families with space to rest and prepare between ceremonies, while ample parking and the venue’s accessible location make arrivals and movement easier for both local guests and those travelling into Madurai.
