The Tamil Nadu Tourism Department has welcomed Dr. V P Jeyaseelan, IAS, as the Director of Tamil Nadu Tourism and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC). In his dual role, he will oversee the strategic planning and promotion of tourism across the state while spearheading initiatives to enhance visitor experiences, improve tourism infrastructure, and further elevate the global appeal of Tamil Nadu’s diverse cultural, heritage, spiritual, eco, and leisure offerings.
Under his leadership, Tamil Nadu Tourism and TTDC are expected to continue driving sustainable tourism development, fostering innovation, and expanding collaborations with industry stakeholders to promote inclusive growth across the state’s tourism ecosystem.
