Designed to belong to its surroundings, the property draws inspiration from Assam-type architecture, natural materials and local craftsmanship. Deep verandahs, sloping roofs, bamboo, wood and woven elements are complemented by contemporary interpretations of traditional motifs such as the Jaapi. The design creates an environment that reflects the character of Assam while offering modern comfort. The accommodation experience is divided across four distinct categories: Bonani, Bonoshree, Kohora River View Cottages and Kunjobon Presidential Suites & Duplexes. Each offers a different perspective of Kaziranga. Bonani connects guests with the property’s history, while Bonoshree celebrates Assam’s art and cultural narratives. Kohora brings guests closer to the river and surrounding landscape, while Kunjobon offers a more private luxury experience with private plunge pools and personalised butler service.
The property’s culinary identity is centred around Kazinemu, where traditional Assamese cuisine, indigenous ingredients and woodfire cooking are presented alongside subtle Southeast Asian influences.
