PHA Announces 8th National Housekeepers’ Convention and 11th Anniversary in New Delhi

The Professional Housekeepers Association (PHA) has announced a double celebration with the 8th National Housekeepers’ Convention & 11th PHA Anniversary, set to take place on 30 May 2026 at the Eros Hotel, Nehru Place. Held under the theme “Leadership in the Art and Science of Housekeeping,” the event will convene leading voices from hospitality, healthcare, aviation, retail, and facilities management to explore the evolving strategic importance of housekeeping in shaping global service excellence.

The convention will welcome Chief Guest R. Ramesh, Senior Vice President of Household Maintenance at The Oberoi Group, whose three decades of leadership continue to set benchmarks in luxury hospitality. Guest of Honour Kanika Hasrat, Senior Director of Operations at Hilton South Asia and National President of the WICCI Hospitality & Tourism Council, will share insights on operational excellence and women’s empowerment across the industry.

A headline session, “Voice of Leaders,” will examine housekeeping’s transformation into a strategic pillar of brand trust. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Dharna Shukla from Amity University, Lucknow and feature senior leaders, including Tejus Jose of Accor (Ibis & Ibis Styles India), Manoj K. Agarwal, Dr. Prashant Vashistha of Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Rubina Sharma of Eros Hotel New Delhi, and Sunil Khera of Regenta Hotels Pvt. Ltd.. The panel will highlight how hygiene, safety, and operational precision directly influence customer trust and asset value across industries.

Another key session, “The Art and Science: From Creative Vision to Scientific Execution,” will be moderated by Bharti Singh Kalappa of Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd. and feature leaders including R. Sangeetha of GRT Hotels & Resorts, Indrani Sanyal of Woodlands Hospital, Pancham Kaur Narkar of Jio World Centre, Dr. Madhu Chandhok of Inspiring Innovative Hospitality, and Anil Sathe of Kinetiq Rrobotics Pvt. Ltd.. The discussion will spotlight sustainability, design thinking, and the integration of human-centric automation into modern operations.

Adding further industry collaboration, Kiran Rao of Peppermint Robotics joins as a Star Collaborator, showcasing autonomous cleaning technologies tailored to modern facilities.

Jayashree Nagaraj, PHA Founder-President, emphasised the association’s mission to “Care, Create, and Elevate,” inviting professionals nationwide to unite as “Stewards of Standards.” The convention also highlights PHA YUVA, the association’s youth initiative connecting students, educators, and industry mentors to build future careers.

Hosting the convention in India’s capital for the first time, the event will serve as a strategic hub for manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers to engage directly with senior decision-makers. More than a conference, the gathering aims to inspire collaboration, share success stories, and strengthen the future of housekeeping and facilities management across industries.
