Global Hospitality Conclave Celebrates 11th Edition with Thought Leadership and Industry Collaboration

The 11th edition of the Global Hospitality Conclave concluded on a high note at The Oberoi New Delhi, bringing together distinguished leaders and industry experts for a powerful exchange of ideas, insights, and inspiration. Marking over a decade of thought leadership, the conclave reinforced its position as a premier platform for dialogue across hospitality, business, and global affairs. Building on eleven successful years, the conclave featured keynote sessions, panel discussions, and curated networking opportunities designed to address the evolving landscape of the hospitality industry.

Steered by the alumni of the erstwhile The Oberoi School of Hotel Management (OSHM), now The Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development, the Global Hospitality Conclave was created to foster knowledge sharing and meaningful connections. Over the years, it has grown into a powerful forum celebrating excellence and lifelong learning within The Oberoi Group community. This year’s conclave brought together senior leadership from The Oberoi Group, OSHM/OCLD alumni, and industry professionals who currently hold or have previously held executive roles at the Group, creating a platform to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.

Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman, The Oberoi Group, said: “The Global Hospitality Conclave is not only a tribute to the vision and values of our founder, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, but also a reflection of the enduring relationships we have built with the GHC community. The warmth, camaraderie, and exchange of ideas continue to strengthen the foundations of our industry while honouring the legacy on which it was built.”

Vikram Oberoi, CEO, The Oberoi Group, added: “The Conclave brings together a close-knit community bound by shared values and mutual respect. It is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to excellence and nurture the relationships that make this industry so special.”

Sudhir Gupta, GHC Chair and Executive Chairman, TLC Digitech, highlighted the conclave’s growing impact as a respected platform for thought leadership and multi-generational engagement.

The centrepiece of the conclave, the Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi Memorial Lecture, was delivered by Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms and Immediate Past President of The Bar Association of India, who reflected on the founder’s pioneering leadership and transformative impact on Indian hospitality. A high-impact geopolitical panel discussed global developments and regional security, featuring Rudra Chaudhuri of the Observer Research Foundation, Akshay Mathur of the Asia Society Policy Institute, and Constantino Xavier of the Centre for Social and Economic Progress. The session was moderated by Anil Chopra, former Navy Commander-in-Chief.

Ashish Dhawan, Founder & CEO of The Convergence Foundation and Founder-Chairperson of Ashoka University, delivered a keynote address followed by a fireside chat featuring Gaurav Bhushan of Ennismore and Accor, in conversation with Ajay Bakaya of Sarovar Hotels and Louvre Hotels India. The alumni session, The Wider Spectrum, featured insights from Kiran Andicot of Marriott International, Devendra Bharma of Jio World Centre, Ribhu Chatterjee of Swiss-Belhotel, and Amitabh Rai of Accor South Asia, moderated by Mohit Nirula of The Oberoi Group.
