Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) will be held in Kochi from Sept 24 to 27, 2026. The 13th edition of Kerala Travel Mart will feature extensive business-to-business (B2B) meetings, policy-level discussions, and seminars, bringing together leading tourism stakeholders along with national and international experts. The event will be inaugurated on Sept 24 at Grand Hyatt Kochi, Bolgatty. The core business meetings—the hallmark of KTM—will take place from Sept 25 to 27 at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres on Willingdon Island.
Addressing the media, Mohamed Riyas said the upcoming edition of KTM is expected to attract over 400 international buyers and more than 1,500 domestic buyers, including hosted buyers as well as high-value MICE and wedding planners. He noted that the Kerala Travel Mart Society, the organiser of the event, is focusing on expanding participation from new international markets while further strengthening engagement from existing ones. “KTM 2026 will feature over 400 seller stalls of varying dimensions and facilitate more than 60,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings across three days,” the minister said.
Emphasising the role of tour operators and travel agents in tourism development, Mohamed Riyas described KTM as a powerful platform for buyers and sellers to gain a comprehensive understanding of Kerala’s tourism potential. He added that the mart would play a key role in driving innovation and transformation in the tourism sector. During the press conference, Mohamed Riyas also launched the promotional video of KTM 2026, while Kerala Tourism Secretary Biju K. unveiled the revamped website of the Kerala Travel Mart Society.
KTM Society President Jose Pradeep announced that all procedures related to the mart—including registration, B2B meetings, and seminars—will be fully digitised. A refurbished software platform, along with a dedicated mobile application, will be deployed to enhance participant experience and operational efficiency. Also present on the occasion were Kerala Tourism Additional Director (General) Sreedhanya Suresh, KTM Honorary Secretary S. Swaminathan, Vice President Harikumar C., Treasurer Jibran Asif, Joint Secretary Jobin Joseph, and KTM Past President E.M. Najeeb.
Post-event tours are scheduled from Sept 28 to Oct 3, covering twelve different tourism sectors across the state. In addition, familiarisation tours for invited foreign and domestic media representatives will be conducted ahead of the event. The previous edition, KTM 2024, witnessed a record participation of both international and domestic buyers. As part of showcasing emerging tourism products, KTM—along with the State Tourism Department—had organised a Wedding and MICE Tourism Summit, which concluded with key announcements, including the formation of a MICE and Wedding Tourism Promotion Bureau and the introduction of a dedicated policy for the sector.
Building on this momentum, KTM 2026 will focus on attracting a larger pool of foreign buyers from new markets while also identifying and engaging new buyers from existing markets, further reinforcing Kerala’s position as a leading global tourism destination.
