Princess Cruises celebrated a major milestone with the departure of its newest Sphere-Class ship, the magnificent Star Princess, on her highly anticipated 11-day Inaugural Western Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona.

Following her inaugural voyage and a subsequent 7-day Mediterranean sailing, Star Princess will embark on a transatlantic journey to Fort Lauderdale, where she will be officially named on November 6, 2025. The grand naming ceremony will feature globally celebrated actors and entrepreneurs Camila and Matthew McConaughey, co-founders of Pantalones Organic Tequila, who will serve as the ship’s godparents and christen this next-generation vessel.
Weighing 177,800 tons and accommodating 4,300 guests, Star Princess introduces an array of luxurious experiences, including 30 distinct dining and bar venues, elevated entertainment and activity offerings, and a range of exquisitely appointed accommodations.
