Over the past few years, Qatar has emerged as a family-friendly, safe, and accessible destination, making it increasingly attractive to Indian travellers. The country’s exceptional global connectivity, led by Qatar Airways, reinforces its position both as a stand-alone holiday destination and as an ideal stopover hub.

In parallel, Visit Qatar is also investing in long-term consumer engagement in India. Most recently, it announced a year-long partnership with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. This initiative celebrates shared culture and heritage while reinforcing Qatar’s commitment to one of its fastest-growing source markets.

Qatar’s strategic location, combined with Qatar Airways’ global network, makes it one of the most accessible destinations for Indians. With renowned hospitality, rich cultural heritage, modern attractions, and diverse experiences, Qatar continues to evolve as a destination of choice for both leisure and business travellers.

The steady rise in Indian arrivals, from 150,221 in 2021 to 415,802 in 2024, and continuing to grow in 2025, underscores the success of Qatar’s focused efforts. With a robust MICE pipeline and continued product diversification, the country is well-positioned to become a top destination for the Indian market.
