In addition, GRT Hotels & Resorts has collaborated with EcoIndex, an innovative environmental tech platform, to measure event emissions through their advanced carbon footprint calculator app. This scientific approach empowers clients to make informed, greener choices for their events.
The initiative introduces a host of sustainable practices, including plastic-free operations with reusable alternatives, ZRO water bottling plants providing purified water in eco-friendly glass bottles, locally sourced, low-carbon menus showcasing fresh, regional ingredients, LED lighting and optimised natural light to minimise energy consumption, and sustainable menu planning, balancing wellness with environmental responsibility.
