The 40th IATO Annual Convention will be held in Puri, Odisha, from August 22nd to 25th, 2025. The host state, Odisha, will be joined by the Ministry of Tourism, the Government of India, and 15-18 other states. The venue hotel, Swosti Premium Beach Resort, Puri, will host all convention activities, including registration, the inaugural function, business sessions, and evening programmes.
“The theme of the convention and other logistics are being finalized and will be informed in due course, “added Mr. Rajiv Mehra, President, IATO.
Mr. Ravi Gosain, Vice President, IATO, said, “We expect about 900–1000 delegates from all over the country to participate, which will include senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the states, industry leaders, tourism and hospitality professionals, and travel trade media. Post-convention tours are being organised in various sectors to showcase Odisha amongst the tourism stakeholders and later promote it in overseas and domestic markets.”
In addition to the business session discussions, the IATO Run for Responsible Tourism will take place. The winners and runners-up will receive awards in a variety of categories. To facilitate communication and promote tourism, IATO is also hosting the Indian Tourism Fair (Travel Mart) at Swosti Premium Beach Resort on August 23 and 24. This event will allow our members to engage with the state tourism department and other exhibitors.
