In 2000, Kochouseph Chittilappilly established Veegaland, the flagship entertainment water theme park in Kochi, Kerala. In 2005, Kochouseph Chittilappilly and his son, Arun Chittilappily, created Wonderla, a larger amusement park stretched over 82 acres in Bengaluru, following the enormous success of the Veegaland project. Wonderla Hyderabad, a third amusement park, opened in April 2016. Arun Chittilappilly currently serves as the company’s managing director.
Wonderla is presently India’s largest chain of amusement parks. It is managed and owned by Wonderla Holidays Limited, which is based near Bidadi, Karnataka. It operates four entertainment parks in Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar. Wonderla Holidays has recently appointed Hari Krishnan N S as Business Head for Tours and Travels to oversee their operations.
