In an effort to rope in more travelers from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the neighboring Goa, Karnataka Tourism recently organized a series of roadshows in Ahmedabad, Surat, Panjim, and Mumbai. The tourism officials, along with tour operators and hotel representatives, met with travel agents from Gujarat and doled out impressive travel package schemes to help them sell Karnataka as a must-visit destination.
The B2B roadshow had over 15 travel agents from Karnataka and over 125 discerning trade partners from Ahmedabad.
The objective of Karnataka Tourism is to promote the state as a Leisure, MICE and Wedding Destination in the Indian market. The roadshow also brought together different aspect of the tourism product such as natural beauty, adventure, pilgrimage, cultural heritage, and many more to the Ahmedabad and Gujarat market.

From culinary tourism to heritage sites, Karnataka has it all. The state offers an avid traveler a vast range of tourism landscapes, including heritage, archaeology, religion, wildlife, ecotourism, and handicraft. The roadshow served as the perfect platform to provide information, and to interact directly with India’s leading tour operators, key decision-makers, airline representatives and travel agents.
