Arabian Travel Market (ATM) cancelled, to be held in 2021

Arabian Travel Market (ATM), one of the most sought-after travel trade events in the world, has closed its doors this year, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, the event was to be held in April this year. However, when the news of COVID-19 crisis broke out in March, forcing the organizers rescheduled the event from June 28 to July 1.

These dates, however, aren’t final, as the organizers recently announced that this year’s event will be cancelled and moved to May 2021. The event, as per, the latest announcement, will be held from May 16 to May 19 next year, following the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.

Although the live show will be rescheduled to 2021, ATM will be running the ATM Virtual Event from June 1 to June 3, 2020. Webinars, live conference sessions, speed networking events, one-on-one meetings will be held during that period.

“We appreciate that this is disappointing news, however everyone’s health and safety is our top priority. We are fully aware of the important role that ATM plays for industry professionals right across the Middle East region and beyond, and we believe it is our responsibility to deliver a safe and successful event when we are able to do so,” the organizers said in the press release.
